A yarn (warm) welcome!

Hello readers!

For those who don't know me (probably most of you), I'm Sultan Mudschi and I am addicted to knitting. I have only been knitting seriously for a few months, but I can't stop. Because my fingers, joints, wrists, etc. have started hurting so badly that I can't possibly knit another row, I decided to start this blog to share my adventures with you. If you're a beginner, I hope to inspire you to love knitting as much as I do. If you're a more experienced knitter, you are most welcome to laugh about my stories of trial and error, philosophizing about the world of knitting and knitting adventures. Sometimes you can only sympathize with what it feels like to run out of yarn five rows before being done with your project if you've been there yourself.

I am also very interested in exploring new kinds of yarn, especially naturally dyed organic merino wool. Time permitting, I would like to start dying my own yarn in the summer, as it is very time consuming for me to find the kind of yarn I enjoy knitting with (organic, low in toxins, naturally dyed) and costly to have it shipped to my home in Europe. If you're also the tree-hugging kind, I hope you'll enjoy my attempt to review as many types of eco yarn as possible, as I know how hard it is to find them. I also like supporting the artisans I buy my organic yarn from by spreading the word, so I'm basically killing two birds with one stone.

I can't wait to start blogging properly soon! Knitting rules!

Check back soon!
Sultan
